Messer's men and women live and work in Nashville, providing construction services for clients such as Community Health Systems, Metropolitan Government Nashville and Davidson County, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, Western Kentucky University, and Middle Tennessee State University.

We recruit employees from local universities such as Vanderbilt and MTSU and maintain relationships with our region’s most trusted subcontractors. Our commitment to including minority- and woman-owned subcontractors and suppliers on every Messer project further builds our community. In 2010, more than 10% or $5 million dollars of Nashville’s total spend of $49 million were spent with certified M/WBE’s.

Our people are committed to making the Nashville community a better place to live. We support the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and many others. 

Messer believes in supporting the community where we work, live and raise our families.  By striving to be an excellent community partner, Messer has contributed more than $90,000 and numerous volunteer hours to the Nashville community since 2006.  Messer professionals dedicate their leadership talents and serve as key roles on community service boards and committees.
