Messer Construction Co. is pleased to announce the promotions of the following individuals:
Project Executive
Matt Schnelle, Dayton. Matt joined Messer in 1998 as a co-op from the University of Cincinnati studying Construction Management. Following graduation in June 2002 he began working full time in the Dayton region. Matt has managed a wide range of project types, including health care, higher education, aviation, and LEED certified.
Senior Project Manager
David Habel, Cincinnati. David is a 2006 graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He joined Messer in early 2007.
Project Manager
Eric Davis, Dayton. Eric began his career with Messer in June 2007 following graduation from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Ryan Stewart, Dayton. Ryan obtained his bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management from The Ohio State University in 2008. Following graduation he joined Messer’s Dayton region and is an active volunteer with the Chron’s & Colitis Foundation.
Tom Stephens, Cincinnati. Tom joined Messer’s Cincinnati region first as a co-op and later full time upon graduating from the University of Cincinnati’s Construction Management program in 2008.
Shawn O’Connor, Cincinnati. Shawn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Northern Kentucky University. Following graduation in 2007 he joined Messer’s Cincinnati region.
Nick Weil, Indianapolis. Nick joined Messer first as a co-op in 2005 from the University of Cincinnati’s Civil and Structural Engineering program and later began full time employment in Messer’s Indianapolis region upon graduating in 2008.
Senior Superintendent
Brian Senters, Dayton. Brian joined Messer in 1994 and is based in Messer’s Dayton region. Over the years he has spent countless hours overseeing construction projects at the jobsite level.
Superintendent
Jeff Klosterman, Nashville. Jeff owned his own construction company for 10 years prior to joining Messer’s Nashville region in 2007 as a carpentry foreman. Jeff has attained his NCCER certification and has participated in Messer’s leadership program.
Project Accountant
Stephanie Nash, Indianapolis. Stephanie graduated from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She joined Messer’s Cincinnati region first as a co-op and later moved to the Indianapolis region in early 2010 to work full time as a project management assistant.
Nora Williams, Indianapolis. Nora joined Messer in September 2008 as a project management assistant. She came to Messer with over seven years of construction accounting/cost control experience.
Dania Isham, Dayton. Dania started with Messer in January 2008, as an accounting co-op. She graduated from Wright State University with a dual Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Management, Change and Innovation.
Ryan Wilhelm, Cincinnati. Ryan was hired as a project management assistant with Messer in June 2010 after graduating from Xavier University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He has supported many projects in the Cincinnati region.
Terri Willis, Cincinnati. Terri joined Messer in August of 2003 as an accounts payable clerk. She has an Associate’s degree in Managerial Accounting from Cincinnati State Community College. Terri recently received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University in April 2011. In June 2010, she transitioned into the project management assistant role where she provided significant project support.
Financial Analyst
Priya Elmore, Corporate. Priya started with Messer in November 2007 as a project management assistant in the Louisville Region. She graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. She has supported numerous projects in the Louisville region and in her new role, Priya will be working out of the Louisville office and will be responsible for managing the corporate accounting and financial reporting associated with Messer’s captive insurance subsidiary, ValuePath Insurance Company, LLC.
Administrative Services Manager
Niki Krebs, Corporate. Niki joined Messer in September of 2006 as an executive assistant. She came to Messer with over 17 years in the construction industry as well as managerial/leadership experience. She has continued education at UC-Raymond Walters, Cincinnati State and a Human Resource certification from IUPUI-Indianapolis. In her new role, Niki will provide leadership and development for the administrative function within the company.
Treasury Director
Brian Doyle, Corporate. Brian began his career at Messer in January 1998 as a co-op. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph and his Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati, both in Accounting. He most recently held the position of director of cost accounting.
Corporate Accounting Manager
Matt Barney, Corporate. Matt joined Messer as a co-op in 2005 and was hired full-time in 2007 upon graduating from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He received his MBA at Xavier University in 2011. Matt’s most recent assignment was regional accounting coordinator.
Senior IT Support Engineer
Ben Eduardo, Corporate. Ben joined Messer in September 2010 after working as a consultant since March 2007. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional who has worked in Information Technology for more than 18 years.
Building Systems Group Engineer II
Matt Jump, Lexington. Matt joined Messer in June 2007 after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Matt has supported many significant projects in the Lexington region.
