Messer named top fundraiser for CCHMC's Cincinnati Walks for Kids

For the third consecutive year, Messer employees earned the distinguished honor of being the No. 1 fundraiser for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's annual "Cincinnati Walks for Kids!"  Messer raised more than $35,000 with 85 registered walkers, three of which were named to the walk's Top 10 individual fundraisers. Additionally, the team gave more than $4,000 in in-kind donations.

Team Captain David Habel applauds his team’s efforts saying, “This great accomplishment could not be accomplished without the Messer family’s continued support of one of our key corporate clients, Cincinnati Children’s.”

The Messer “Cincinnati Walks for Kids” Team was recognized by CCHMC CEO Michael Fisher during the Walk’s opening ceremony before 8,500 walkers.  Messer led this year’s walk as a result of their outstanding 2011 fundraising success.

The Cincinnati Walks for Kids! Team coordinators were: David Habel (Team Captain), Cindy Mines, Will Johnson, Jerry Noble, Andrew Schultz, Mike Hess, Clint Berry and Annie Horn.  Top Messer fundraisers in 2012 were: David Habel ($10,915), Greg Goertemoeller ($5,440) and Don Elbert ($5,3785).
