Project Executive for Messer Construction Co. wins Dayton Builders Exchange Project Management Award

DAYTON, OH – Project Executive Andy Litke was recently honored with the Dayton Builders Exchange (DBX) First Annual Project Management Award for his outstanding project leadership at the University of Dayton Marycrest Hall Renovation Phase I.
Messer Construction Co. served as the Construction Manager for Phase I of the Marycrest Hall Renovation. This project included the renovation of approximately 200 dorm rooms, corridors, basement common areas, and mechanical spaces. Under Andy’s leadership the project team was able to complete this renovation in only 97 days.
Because of Andy’s leadership and Messer’s exceptional work, the University of Dayton also awarded Andy Litke and the Messer team Marycrest Hall Phases II and III.
The first annual Project Management Award is to recognize exemplary project management skills as demonstrated on a particular project. Nominees are judged for their praiseworthy solutions to unique project challenges, commendable management under difficult project conditions and outstanding ability to meet and exceed rigorous customer demands.
