Messer Listed on Deloitte 100 for 25th Consecutive Year

(November 21, 2008)  Cincinnati, Ohio – For the 25th consecutive year, Messer Construction Co. has been named to the Deloitte 100 list of the region’s largest privately held companies, published by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Titled “The Best of the Best,” the list in the Sunday, Nov. 16 edition of the Enquirer included Messer among 16 companies that earned “all star” status for making the list every year since 1983.

The article highlighted Messer management’s approach: “Instead of focusing on the deadlines and requirements for each individual construction job, they positioned the firm as a long-term partner with its customers, a philosophy that has paid dividends over the last 25 years.”

Compiled by financial and professional services firm Deloitte, the list requires that companies be headquartered in one of the 18 counties of the Tristate and have more than 50 employees. In addition to annual sales revenue, applicants must provide responses to a 40-question survey that denotes market trends and highlights.
