Messer Named 2009 "General Contractor of the Year" by Indiana Subcontractors Association

(March 31, 2009)  Indianapolis, Ind. – Messer Construction Co. received the 2009 “General Contractor of the Year” award from the Indiana Subcontractors Association (ISA) earlier this month.

The annual award is determined by votes from member-subcontractors. Criteria include strength of management teams, safety practices, payment history, and ethics – factors which are used to collectively measure overall performance among the top contractors in the state.

“We are especially proud of this award because it was voted on by the subcontractors who work on our projects every day,” said Tim Steigerwald, vice president of Messer. “It’s a tribute to everyone at Messer as we seek to build successful business partner relationships with subcontractors and owners alike.”

ISA, a non-profit organization, promotes the interests of area subcontractors and material suppliers with general contractors through alliance partnerships, project information meetings, receptions and recognition events.
