Messer Construction Co. Elects Executive Officer

(August 15, 2007)  Messer Construction Co. recently elected Robert Williams, of Lexington, as an Executive Officer and leader of the Lexington Region. Williams was supported by the board of directors for this promotion. As a new officer, he will serve nearly 900 employees.

Williams, who most recently served Messer as Operations Vice President in the Lexington region, began his career with the company in 1991 as a Project Engineer. His responsibilities have included providing executive leadership and supporting project performance. Williams has diverse project leadership experience, which includes airports, educational facilities, research facilities, medical facilities, recreational facilities, office buildings, government buildings, and parking garages. Bob is on the advisory board of the Salvation Army, board of directors of the Urban League of Lexington and United Way of the Bluegrass, and serves on the University of Kentucky Civil Engineering advisory committee and the legislative committee of the AGC of Kentucky.
