Messer Construction Co. and CMiC Donate $10,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis

(November 13, 2007)  Indianapolis, IN – Messer Construction Co., a leading regional general contractor and construction manager, and CMiC, a leading software solutions provider for the construction industry, have donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis (BGCI). All parties gathered at a local club to spend time together and celebrate with the kids and staff.

Messer recently won the first-ever CMiC Innovation Award for its creative application of CMiC technology. The award is designed to recognize excellence and encourage innovative thinking within the construction industry and comes with an invitation to select a charity to receive a $10,000 donation. For Messer the choice was easy.

“Messer employees have donated their time, talent and treasure to the Boys & Girls Clubs and have seen firsthand the impact of this remarkable organization,” said Tim Steigerwald, Vice President of Messer Construction Co. “We are grateful to CMiC for giving us the opportunity to support an organization that plays such a vital role in the development of our community.”

CMiC representatives donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs on behalf of Messer in a presentation earlier this month. The money will be used to support the youth development programs of BGCI.

“Messer’s support has been immeasurable to Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis,” said Rick Whitten, executive director of BGCI. “We truly appreciate the corporate and individual support of the company and its employees.”

“Messer is proud to support this organization,” added Tim. “As leaders in the construction process, we believe in being true corporate citizens and supporting the communities where we live and work.”

”CMiC is proud that Messer won first place in the Innovation Awards,” said Bassem Hamdy, Vice President Solutions and Marketing at CMiC. “As one of our leading clients, Messer Construction constantly brings innovation and insight to both the construction and IT industries. At CMiC, we believe that our clients make us a better company, and with Messer’s commitment to innovation, it bolsters both CMiC and our user community.”
