Messer Announces New LEED Accredited Professionals

Cincinnati, Ohio – Messer Construction Co. announces that 13 employees have recently achieved LEED Accreditation from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Messer now has a total of 42 LEED Accredited Professionals (APs) on staff.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accreditation means an individual has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as LEED requirements, resources, and processes. Passing the LEED Professional Accreditation Exam distinguishes an individual with the knowledge and skills to successfully guide and oversee the LEED certification process.

The new APs add to Messer’s depth of green experience. Messer has worked for more than a decade with designers and clients to incorporate green building techniques and/or achieve LEED certification, notably building Berea College’s Lincoln Hall, Kentucky’s first LEED certified project. Messer is recognized nationally in the category by ranking in the annual top 40 list of “green builders” in Engineering News Record (ENR) magazine.
