Messer Names Wallace as Director of Employee Compensation

(February 25, 2009)  Cincinnati, Ohio – Messer Construction Co. has named Wanda Wallace, CEBS, M.Ed., to the position of Director of Employee Compensation.

Wallace brings more than 20 years of experience to the position, where she will be responsible for directing the administration of employee benefit plans and payroll processes. She will monitor and evaluate legislative changes and industry trends to develop and/or make recommendations to provide optimal benefit coverage for employees while maintaining Messer’s competitive position in employee benefit offerings.

Prior to joining Messer, she worked as an independent insurance consultant to individuals and local businesses. Previously, she had served as director of human resources for Sysco Food Services of Cincinnati, as well as human resources/communications manager for Color Resolutions International of Fairfield.

Wallace earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Xavier University. She also received her Bachelor’s degree from Xavier, majoring in Human Resources and graduating cum laude. Wallace is a certified employee benefit specialist (CEBS) and is licensed in the state of Ohio for Property & Casualty, Life, and Health insurance.

Wallace serves on the governing council for the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS) and is a member of both the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
