People
Dave Kylander consults with building owners who are making decisions about future projects and introduces them to Messer. Contact Dave if you'd like to consult with Messer about an upcoming project.
Allen Begley leads our Dayton organization. If you’re a community leader, member of the press, or simply wish to speak with a construction expert, please contact Allen.
Messer's people living and working in Dayton build national-award-winning buildings like the Schuster Performing Arts Center and regularly provide construction services for clients like Dayton Heart Hospital, The University of Dayton, Montgomery County, and Bethany Lutheran Village.
Providing better building experiences is only one thing we do. We also build our community by committing time and financial assistance to philanthropic Miami Valley organizations like United Way of the Greater Dayton Area, Culture Works, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Miami Valley Council Boy Scouts of America, to name a few. Our commitment to include minority- and woman-owned businesses on every Messer project further builds our community.
Awards
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Ohio and the AGC of America gave Messer two prestigious awards, the "Build Ohio" award and the "Build America" award (respectively), for our work on the Schuster Performing Arts Center. The "Build America" award is like an Oscar® for the construction industry.
Messer has also received awards from the Design-Build Institute of America for design-build projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
Spotlight
CareSource Management Group awarded Messer Dayton’s largest commercial project, a ten-story downtown headquarters building. This story was featured in Dayton Daily News. The story also highlights our commitment to minority inclusion.
Messer gave a $25,000 Messer Foundation Grant to Improved Solutions for Urban Systems (ISUS). ISUS will use the grant to help train at-risk youth in the area of construction, computer technology and nursing assistance.
