People

Curt Brough (pronounced Brew) consults with building owners who are making decisions about future projects and introduces them to Messer. Contact Curt if you'd like to consult with Messer about an upcoming project.

Tim Steigerwald leads our Indianapolis organization. If you're a community leader, member of the press, or simply wish to speak with a construction expert, please contact Tim.

We live and work in Indianapolis, providing better building experiences for clients like Wishard Health Services, Indiana University, Praxair and Franklin United Methodist Community.

In addition to building complex commercial structures, we consider it vital to be a good corporate citizen. We regularly give our time, talent and treasure to organizations like the United Way of Central Indiana, Arts Council of Indianapolis, Indiana Rural Health Association and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis.

Including minority and woman-owned businesses on our projects is also important to us. We actively seek their participation. Our vice president Tim Steigerwald serves on the Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) National Diversity Committee and the Indiana Construction Roundtable (ICR) Diversity Initiative.

Awards

The Associated Builders and Contractors of Indiana (ABC) awarded Messer its "Award of Excellence" for our exceptional performance during the Lawrenceburg Riverfront Development, a $30 million mixed-use public project.

Spotlight

Messer gave a $25,000 Messer Foundation Grant to Shepherd Community, an organization working to end the cycle of poverty on the near east side of downtown Indianapolis. The grant will help expand technology opportunities for underprivileged students.

Messer also donated $10,000 to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis. CMiC, a project management software firm, gave Messer “First Place” in its annual Innovation Awards. The award included a $10,000 gift to the charity of Messer's choice.
