Messer's men and women live and work in Nashville, providing construction services for clients such as Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), the Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County and Specialty Surgery Centers of America.

Our people are committed to making the Nashville community a better place to live. We support the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and many others.

We recruit employees from local universities such as Vanderbilt and MTSU and maintain relationships with our region’s most trusted subcontractors. Our commitment to including minority- and woman-owned subcontractors and suppliers on every Messer project further builds our community. In 2009, 13.3% ($83 million) of Messer’s purchases went to certified minority- or woman-owned subcontractors and suppliers.

Awards

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America presented Messer with its 2009 “Construction Safety Excellence Award.”
