Mike joined Messer in 2002 after graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering that same year. He earned LEED accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute, making him a LEED AP®. He leads the Building Systems Group which plans and manages the installation, start-up, and commissioning of building mechanical and electrical systems. Mike recently completed The Ohio State University’s $325 million North Residential District Transformation project, a 2016 AGC Build Ohio Award winner, built to redefine the student experience. His other project experience includes award-winning The Ohio Judicial Center, Grant Hospital Revitalization, IGS Corporate Headquarters, Ohio Dominican Student Center, Scioto Mile, Battelle Building 8, and Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Project Grace.
Mike serves his community as a board member for Amethyst, Inc., an organization committed to providing a safe, stable environment for recovering drug and alcohol dependent women and their families to work toward and maintain sobriety.
