Tom’s career with Messer began in 1997 after earning his B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky in the same year. His roles and responsibilities have progressed over the past two decades to his position as Operations Vice President. As an original member of the team to launch and develop the Indianapolis region, Tom assumed this role utilizing his experience with a variety of building types. Because of the market needs and foreseen opportunities, he began concentrating on the Life Science market. As a result, he has used his expertise to perform as the executive lead for such notable clients as Roche Diagnostics and Cook Regentec.
Tom is active in both community and trade-based organizations, which include board positions for Franklin Youth Baseball and the Indiana Construction Roundtable. Boards of NAMI Greater Indianapolis, Indiana ACI and a variety of committees have all benefitted from his service. Tom has also been a requested speaker by Ball State University’s Construction Management Student Organization.
