Christopher Malinowski
Vice President, Charlotte Region Leader
Chris began his career with Messer in 1992 while studying for his bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Cincinnati before joining full time in 1996. Chris is certified by the US Green Building Council as a LEED AP, displaying knowledge and leadership in energy and environmental design. A graduate of Leadership Columbus, he’s used his skills to lead several projects to award-winning status. His diverse project experience includes educational and industrial facilities, aviation, K-12, parking garages and office buildings. After serving the Ohio regions, he seized the opportunity to relocate to Charlotte, NC to help establish Messer’s presence in our newest region at the time, where he currently serves as Vice President.
He is active in the Charlotte community encouraging diversity on every Messer project. His efforts were awarded in 2016 with the Diversity Advocate of the Year for Charlotte Minority Enterprise Development Week. Chris’ other community support includes serving as a board member and operations committee chair for the Hospitality House of Charlotte and is actively involved with The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance.
