Erin Thompson

Erin began his career with Messer in 1997 as a co-op and was hired full time upon earning his bachelor’s degree in construction management from the University of Cincinnati in 1998.

Since joining Messer, Erin has provided leadership across a diverse portfolio of award-winning projects for health care, higher education, commercial and pharmaceutical customers, as well as led regional operations in Columbus, Ohio, and Greenville, South Carolina.

In 2023, Erin led Messer’s growth into South Carolina with the opening of the company’s 11th regional office in Greenville. Today, he provides executive-level leadership for the company’s Raleigh region as well.

Erin serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of Greenville County and Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
