Rob began co-oping with Messer in 1984. He earned an associate’s and a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Northern Kentucky University in 1986 and 1987.
Rob gained project experience in health care, higher education, office buildings, industrial, recreational and commercial facilities and is also adept in trade contractor coordination. Rob’s expertise ultimately led him to the role of vice president for Messer’s Columbus region in 2009.
Today, Rob has company-wide responsibility to lead the teams who are the foundation of Messer’s operational pillars. This includes Safety, Craftforce Development and the Rental Division. These teams play an integral part in Messer’s ability to build better lives for our customers, communities and each other. Rob is also at the forefront to create career paths for superintendents and advance skill development for the company’s Craftforce.
Rob is the chairman the State of Ohio AGC Board.
