Project Spotlight: Ditsch Pretzel

Messer partnered with Ditsch Pretzel to transform an existing Costco building into a modern 185,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art pretzel processing facility.

Key features included:

  • Production lines, cold storage, administration space, and warehouse areas seamlessly integrated under one roof.
  • Multiple building expansions to house freezer facilities, shipping areas, utilities, and offices.
  • Our proactive safety leadership was empowered to exercise stop-work authority, even on activities outside our contract, reinforcing Ditsch’s confidence that we share their Zero Injury values.

With Messer, you’re not just building a facility—you’re building a resilient, high-performing operation designed to meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s growth.

Messer’s intervention through stop-work authority prevented a potentially dangerous situation. Messer’s willingness to step in and manage the situation effectively not only safeguarded our employees, but also reinforced our confidence in Messer’s capabilities within complex food manufacturing facilities.

We have a lot of unique requirements, and Messer collaborated closely with our team to ensure mutual success.
