Our Knoxville Region received an AGC Build Knoxville Award for the City of Knoxville Public Safety Complex. The 210,000 sf police and fire headquarters—completed safely with zero injuries and 23% M/WBE participation— included significant demolition of the existing St. Mary’s Hospital and renovation of three campus buildings. It involved the demolition of 7 buildings totaling 800,000 sf with 99% of waste materials recycled and 2,000 historical bricks saved for the city to distribute.
