Dayton Regional STEM School Renovation
The Dayton Regional STEM School is a public school offering an innovative education with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and math. Prior to this project, the school occupied a portion of a vacant department store. This project renovated the remaining space enabling the school to expand their operations. All construction activities were completed during the summer months; Lean Construction tools were used to ensure the completion date was met.
- 35,000 sf renovation of a vacant department store to accomodate a public school
- Includes a 4,500 sf fitness room, engineering laboratories, science laboratories, wind tunnel and 3D printer
- Project was completed on schedule and more than $500,000 below budget
