We Are Building
This is the largest project in McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base’s history, providing critical aviation support to the 134th Air Refueling Wing. Construction includes a 57,400 sf aircraft hangar, 28,000 sf hangar bay, corrosion control section, avionics shop and a space for maintenance and general shop purposes.
Features and Facts
Situated in an active airfield, meticulous coordination is required to keep the jobsite free of FOD (foreign object debris). Flow Scheduling is being utilized to reduce increments of work for our field crews by coupling activities together and to improve performance and accelerate schedule.
