2017 Alliant Build America Award: Cincinnati Children’s / UC Health Proton Therapy Center

The Center houses one of the nation's first pediatric proton therapy facilities. Proton Therapy is a precise form of radiation therapy used to treat cancer that does not damage surrounding tissue and has fewer side effects. The treatment is of particular benefit to pediatric patients, however the facility will treat both adults and children.
