University of Cincinnati Health Gardner Neuroscience Institute

The building was constructed within the dynamics of surrounding higher education, hospital and other health care facilities. This included students; faculty; staff; the general public; supporting busiensses and restaurants; and an adjacent busy, multi-lane street. Throughout the project, Messer coordinated extensively with the University to minimize disruptions between students and faculty.

  • Outdoor garden, community gathering spaces, classrooms, patient recreation spaces, auditorium and dance therapy rooms

  • Pedestrian tunnel connects the facility to the University of Cincinnati Health Physician Building 

  • Topping out ceremony features the last beam placed on the Neuroscience Institute
