Maryville College Clayton Center for the Arts
Messer was in discussions with Maryville College for two years before the project was released for public bid. Because of our understanding of the project and ability to complete projects safely and efficiently on occupied campuses, Messer was able to deliver added value on bid day and was the clear choice to lead construction.

- Grand Foyer – 3,500 sf room with 1,800 hand-blown glass spheres in 15 chandeliers
- Main Hall – 1,196-seat performance hall with a music/art gallery, library, instrument rehearsal room, costume shop, catering kitchen, administration and fine arts faculty offices, 2,600 sf, 200-seat Flex Theatre and 40-person Special Events Room
22,000 sf Recital Hall
- Two art galleries, classroom space, green rooms, galleries, 250-seat recital hall, piano practicing rooms, café, ceramics classroom, print-making studio and three art studios
