University of Tennessee John Tickle Engineering Building
The University of Tennessee is home to the fourth oldest College of Engineering in the nation. For more than 100 years, portions of this program were housed in Estabrook Hall. The John Tickle Engineering Building replaced the aging Estabrook Hall and is located adjacent to Neyland Stadium, home of the UT Volunteers Football, on “The Hill”, where all College of Engineering classrooms and laboratories are located.
- 110,000 sf classroom and laboratory building
- Houses American Society of Civil Engineers labs, GeoTech lab, Undergraduate Soils lab, computer and senior design labs, study room, seminar room and office space
- Pedestrian bridge connects the John Tickle Engineering Building to The Hill – visually linking the new facility to the existing College of Engineering facilities
