Description

New construction included the addition of a 200,000 sf tower with 128 beds, 14 operating rooms, pre/post-op bays, a lab, central sterile unit and pharmacy. Site work included a 39-space parking garage, enlargement of two existing detention ponds, re-alignment of entry drive and all parking lots, and storm/sanitary infrastructure improvements. 200,000 sf of renovations in the active hospital included 116 private patient rooms, facade replacement, operating rooms, trauma room, patient spaces, new registration & surgery waiting areas, a new chapel and a new dining space.

 

Features

  • Messer was required to put work in place along the perimeter of a fully-active hospital without negatively impacting daily operations while maintaining safety for patients, staff and visitors. We also delivered patient room renovations without reducing inpatient bed capacity during construction.
  • Associated General Contractors of Ohio 2021 Build Ohio Award recipient in the Renovation Category.
