Messer Construction Endowed Scholarship - Berea College

The scholarship helps provide the cost of attendance - including tuition and other education support - for a Berea College student. Preference should be given to the most qualified minority candidate who is interested in the 3-2 Engineering Dual Degree Program with an interest in Civil Engineering or candidates who express interest in construction as a career from other programs such as Business Administration. Note: The Berea scholarship funds will become available approximately fall 2021. Robert Dorsey Fund for the Future - University of Cincinnati

The Robert Dorsey Fund for the Future was created to assist in recruiting, retaining and graduating a broader diversity of students in the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management programs. Earle J. Wheeler Memorial Fund - University of Cincinnati

The Earle J. Wheeler Memorial Fund was created to provide scholarships to students with diverse backgrounds who are studying Engineering. Recipients must have a diverse background, based upon factors including but not limited to, economic status, cultural awareness, parental education, and history of overcoming adversity. Co-op opportunities are available for scholarship recipients.

Messer Construction Scholarship - University of Dayton

The scholarship is for first-year minority students who are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and have an interest that aligns itself to complex commercial construction. Messer Construction Co. Donn E. Hancher Scholarship in Construction Engineering Management - University of Kentucky

In honor of Dr. Donn Hancher, Professor Emeritus and retired Terrell-McDowell, Chairman in Construction Management, this is the only undergraduate scholarship set aside for construction students at the University of Kentucky. The scholarship is given to an upper level Civil Engineering student interested in construction engineering and project management with a preference for an underrepresented awardee.

Messer Diversity Engineering Scholarship - University of Louisville

This scholarship was created with the intention of furthering the J. B. Speed School’s affirmative action goals at the University of Louisville. The scholarship will provide support for a student pursuing an undergraduate degree in either Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering at the Speed School. The scholarship will be awarded to African American or female students with a preference to those who graduate from public or private high schools in the Louisville metropolitan area. The student must meet the University’s scholarship requirements as determined by the Admissions Office.
