Description

The IU Health Joe and Shelly Schwarz Cancer Center increased quality and capacity of patient care. This 88,000 sf outpatient cancer center includes radiation oncology areas, hematology-oncology, infusion rooms, laboratory, pharmacy and a linear accelerator. The building also features support program space for chemotherapy patients such as art, music and yoga areas.

 

 

Features

  • Flow scheduling was utilized to allow for faster completion of the project, higher quality and earlier in place mock-ups.
  • Situated in the heart of an active medical campus, Messer coordinated proactively with all IU Health stakeholders to ensure the safety of all patients, visitors and staff as well as mitigate any disruption to campus operations.
