Description

This is a six-story hospital with a penthouse that includes an oncology department, operating rooms, labor and delivery, imaging, and a kitchen with a new loading dock.

Features

  • Columbus Business First 2024 Building Columbus “Best New Medical Project” award winner.
  • All services on campus remained operational throughout construction, including the Emergency Care Center, which is OhioHealth’s busiest freestanding emergency department.
  • COVID-related supply chain issues caused equipment delays including seven months for electrical gear and five months for MEP equipment. Despite the delays, Messer completed the project within two months of the original schedule.
  • Messer prefabricated the CUP off-site, resulting in higher quality, improved schedule, and enhanced safety.
