Messer Earns National Safety Recognition for Fourth Consecutive Year

April 25, 2025

Messer took second in the Associated General Contractors of America’s Construction Safety Excellence Awards, competing in the 2.5 million or more work hours division. This is the highest work hour division, reserved for the largest, most in-demand construction management firms.

2025 marks the fourth year in a row Messer has been a finalist, notably finishing first in the competition in 2021. This means when you work with Messer, you are working with one of the safest firms in the nation, year after year.

The AGC’s panel of safety professional judges selected Messer for this award to recognize our:

  • Outstanding safety performance
  • Culture of Zero Injury
  • Emphasis on improving safety for our trade partners
  • Flow Scheduling
  • 5S program
  • Commitment to craft force safety

Safety Vice President Kyle McDonald says the award recognizes the efforts and results of continuously improving Messer’s safety program.

“Every year we participate in this award it provides a great opportunity for us to share with the industry, on a national stage, the great things we are doing to advance Messer’s safety program and to learn from other high-performing companies and leaders. Our track record continues to show that our program and results are among the best.”
