Description

CVG desired a state-of-the-art Consolidated Rental Car Facility to better serve airport passengers. This includes a new garage for pick-up and return of rental vehicles, garage for vehicle maintenance and fueling, new customer service building for rent-a-cars and future terminal expansion, and a new elevated entrance road and bridge.

 

Features

  • Situated in the heart of a fully operational terminal with multiple tie-ins, our project team coordinated extensively with the owner to ensure passenger, staff and guest safety is maintained at all times. 
  • This project required partial demolition of an existing garage adjacent to a fully operational garage.
  • Phase I of this project included a new exit plaza in an existing garage complex.
  • First elevated fueling permitted in the state of Kentucky.
  • 2022 AGC Build KY Award in the New Construction category.
