Description

The inpatient pharmacy was renovated to comply with changes in regulations throughout the health care system. This included a complete mechanical and architectural renovation, room addition to house a new air handling unit and related equipment, three large-capacity carousel units, new
clean-rooms, and separating the pharmacy and office areas to create more functional spaces.

 

Features

  • Collaboration between the project team and hospital/pharmacy staff helped ensure construction activities were planned and executed with minimal disruption to daily hospital
    operations.
  • Extensive planning was required to tie into existing MEP systems without disrupting adjacent spaces.
  • Air balancing tolerances for cleanroom spaces required significant coordination to maintain necessary room pressures.
