Description

Phase 1 was a 130,225 sf residence hall with single and double-occupancy rooms and 482 total beds. Phase 2 was a 139,000 sf residence hall with single and double-occupancy rooms and 452 total beds. Each residence hall includes a laundry facility, private bathroom units, private study rooms, and a shared commons with kitchen and dining space.

Features

  • Messer performed demolition and construction on an active university campus while maintaining a safe and secure job site. The project was completed with zero recordable incidents.
  • To prepare for demolition and construction of the second residence hall (phase 2), Messer completed phase 1 of the project one month early to maintain student bed-capacity.
  • We achieved 16% M/WBE participation.
  • 2022 ICF Builder Award – Best Multifamily.
