Description

The University of Tennessee is home to the fourth oldest College of Engineering in the nation. For more than 100 years, portions of this program were housed in Estabrook Hall. The John Tickle Engineering Building replaced the Estabrook Hall and is located adjacent to Neyland Stadium. This is a 110,000 sf classroom and laboratory building that houses American Society of Civil Engineers labs, GeoTech lab, Undergraduate Soils lab, computer and senior design labs, study room, seminar room and office space. A pedestrian bridge connects the John Tickle Engineering Building to the existing College of Engineering facilities.

  • The John Tickle Engineering Building is located at the heart of UT’s campus.
  • The project team coordinated extensively with UT staff to ensure a safe environment for UT students, and the spectators that attend Volunteer football games.
