Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is listed as one of the attractions that help Cincinnati rank No. 8 on New York Times' "Top 52 Cities to Visit" (click and scroll to No. 8)

Cincinnati Shakespeare is known for their award-winning educational impact and community outreach that connected the people of Cincinnati to great art and culture. They wanted a new theater to continue their tradition of world-class artistic productions. The project is a renovation and addition of a three-level, 26,640 sf historic building.

Features

  • Completion of the 42’ tall concrete theater walls occurred in three lifts, totaling 30 pours.
  • Includes a large lobby, restrooms, elevator, rehearsal room, box office and other support spaces
  • Tight site logistics were a challenge to overcome; the building was constructed with mobile cranes while keeping surrounding city streets open.
  • Managed the project safely and productively through limited space onsite for material and equipment storage.
