Description

This project is a 7,100 sf renovation within UC Health Holmes Hospital. It includes labs, clean rooms and controls 2,000 sf concrete vault addition to house the new cyclotron. Additionally, it includes ISO-7 and ISO-8 cGMP clean room spaces, heavy mechanical on supply and exhaust side.

Features

  • The innovative technology and design of this project is the first of its kind in southwestern Ohio.
  • The team’s understanding of the scope was beneficial in providing a realistic budget during preconstruction based on relationships in the local market.
  • Messer’s in-house Virtual Design and Construction team laser scanned the existing conditions of the 1950’s facility. From the scan, BSI was able to design from as-built conditions and coordinate to accommodate utilities and low beams above ceiling that could not be relocated.
