Description

This project consisted of converting a 158,000 sf wood shop into a state of the art custom metal mold manufacturing facility equipped to develop, produce, test, measure and qualify molds for the medical, automotive, packaging, and aerospace industries for iMFLUX. iMFLUX, one of P&G's startup businesses, has developed a transformative technology process to create new-age plastic that is thinner, cheaper and greener than the current industry standard.

 

Features

  • Upgraded capacity of electrical service by 300% and HVAC system by 30% manufacturing equipment load.
  • Overhead bridge cranes and jib cranes for product handling.
  • Build out of robotic milling line, injection process area, research and development, assembly, metrology, polish, material prep, shipping and receiving, show room and support space.
  • The Messer team coordinated with iMFLUX to accommodate their high-tech and sensitive equipment, which required isolation foundations and was sensitive to temperature, humidity and dust.
