Description

This multi-phased renovation of a 118,600 sf, five-story structure is used for administration, faculty offices and teaching and student collaboration. The project included upgrades to all major MEP systems and restoration of the auditorium and will provide space for the College of Pharmacy, along with space to be shared with the College of Allied Health Sciences.

 

Features

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) was utilized for mechanical coordination, high-definition laser scanning of the existing tunnel and utilities to identify potential issues and mitigate them earlier in the construction process.
  • Work was performed in multiple phases while adjacent portions of the building were occupied, requiring a logistics and phasing plan that accounted for maintaining daily operations and preserving the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
  • LEED Silver Certified.
